The top two teams in the NBA will meet again as the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors battle it out in Game 1 of the NBA Finals at the Oracle Arena on Thursday night. While the lineups are basically the same with just a few revisions, both teams are significantly better than last season and expected to showcase a more exciting and intense NBA Finals.
The Cavs are stronger with a healthy Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love back in action. Coach David Blatt was fired and replaced by lead assistant Tyronn Lue where the Cavs showed a renewed fire and confidence. But the Warriors just finished the best regular season run with 73 wins and only 9 losses to break the Chicago Bulls record in the 1995-1996 NBA season. Stephen Curry shattered his own record of 286 3 point shots made in a single season by hitting the 402 mark.
